PMO Service Offerings – Selecting the right ones for your PMO!

Have you ever tried to Google “PMO Service Offerings”? Or have you ever tried “PMO as a Service”? The results, as you would expect, are different, and that makes sense. It’s Google doing its best to provide you with the best results. But here is the issue, the industry is so confused on those two terms and every company treats them so radically different that PMO Managers get completely lost in knowing how to use them. That means to me that there is a lot of confusion for everyone, especially a PMO Manager who is trying to set up Service Offerings for their PMO and does not know where to start.

This confusion we are all experiencing on this topic stops today. I am going to show you how to select the right services for your PMO. Well, I can’t really tell you exactly the services to select, but what I can do is give you the process I have followed over the last several PMOs and have been very successful.

Who am I, and how am I qualified to tell you how to select your PMO Service Offerings? My name is Bill Dow and I have 19 years running PMOs and over 30+ years in the Project Management industry. I have run 10 PMOs across 4 different companies, so I am very knowledgeable in this space and very passionate about sharing my background and experiences.PMOServiceOfferings

Step 1 – Executive Expectations

Step 2 – Business Problems

Step 3 – PMO Types
